David Shaw
Director / Lead Designer
David Shaw is an Industrial Designer and Art Director of Street and Garden Furniture Company, which he established in1991. The company was created as a tool to develop and promote original street furniture designs. Collaboration with design professionals and clients has seen many iconic projects completed such as Brisbane CBD, Gold Coast CBD and foreshore locations, Toowoomba CBD, 2000 Olympic sites and venues to name a few. David employs and collaborates with many established and emerging designers, forging a creative environment that has enjoyed the receipt of many industry accolades.

Surya Graf
Senior Product Designer
Surya Graf’s design studio is based in Brisbane Australia. While initially graduating with a degree in Psychology, Surya then went on to study Architecture at the University of Queensland. His interest then began to shift from the built environment to incorporate the smaller scale of objects and product design. In 2002 he graduated as the university medallist in Design from Griffith University (QCA).
In recent years Surya has been working for a number of companies with the main focus on furniture design within the urban environment. He has designed products for major projects throughout Australia, being awarded the Design Institute of Australia (Qld) Award for best furniture design for his 'Wave' Bench in 2005.
Surya has also developed a number of interior furniture pieces, lighting and home ware products under his own label. His design has a major influence from new technologies, with an innovative and experimental use of material. While always being focused on functionality, Surya's design philosophy is also based on a refined simplicity of form and issues of environmental sustainability.
Björn Rust
Product Designer
Designing to surprise and inspire. Björn believes in socially responsible, emotionally sustainable concepts with clear semantics and appealing aesthetics. Driven by new materials and processes, as well as new perspectives on existing ones. Drawing on experiences during his travels as much as those gathered in furniture and building design studios in Australia.

Lisa brings an other degree in industrial designer and further management experience to the team. Her education equips her to effectively tackle all your standard product question.
