Story
Fabricated entirely from folded steel, the SIT range is extremely robust while maintaining a visually minimal and light design aesthetic. The colour selection for this project made direct reference to the branding identity of the Southbank Institute, with the laser-cut pixel pattern representing the different areas of technology that are taught at the site.
The range included a variety of seating elements, drinking fountains, table settings, workstations, tree grates, bollards, bicycle racks and bins enclosures that met both user accessibility and maintenance requirements.
All necessary site analysis, product feasibility studies, prototyping and technical documentation were also undertaken by Street & Garden studio during the various design and manufacturing phases of the project.
