Street & Garden Furniture Co. began in 1991, when company director, David Shaw applied his strong design principals to street furniture. Driven by the desire to develop site specific designs which complement a community’s attitudes and existing built environment. This desire has become a core value of the contemporary design studio which operates in Brisbane, Australia.Our products and solutions aim to stimulate and inspire while maintaining robustness and versatility as not to lose sight of the realities of high impact environments. We understand the significance of public spaces on a communities attitudes and the importance of delivering a meaningful product.Our design service seeks to facilitate an individual aesthetic and quality physical product.

The Street and Garden design studio aims to reduce the impact of it products during its design phase where possible. Standard products are designed for longevity and reparability. We seek responsible manufacturing practices which address waste reduction and recycling.

Waste from sheet metal fabrication is sold and recycled. Cast products are produced from 100% recycled aluminium and waste material is reused onsite.

Standard products are designed for disassembly to allow for repair and proper waste management. Every Street and Garden component is available upon request to facilitate repair.
